Spartan Supply Company was formed as a roofing material distributor in 1978 in a small office in West Los Angeles. Rick Betts was one of the founders of the company and is still involved with the company today. Over the past years the Company has grown very rapidly. After several expansions on the West Los Angeles property, it was necessary to expand to a larger location. In March 1989 the company was moved to Culver City where it stayed for the next 18 years. Spartan Supply Company moved again in 2007 to its present location in Los Angeles to accommodate a newly expanded showroom.
